Mission Statement: Accomplish the ASMC mission of promoting education, training and professional development in all aspects of military comptrollership by using proactive strategies and maintain relevancy to attract new members and retain current ones.

Potomac Chapter 2010 Goals

1. Develop a luncheon program that attracts 30 or more participants each month

2. Organize 2 professional development seminars

3. Increase the number of scholarship awards by 2

4. Increase government membership by 10% and corporate membership by 25%

5. Provide timely information to members

6. Participate in a charity event on a quarterly basis

7. Maintain 5-star status

The Potomac Chapter membership base is located in and around the Fort
Belvoir, VA commuting area and mostly comprised of current or former
Army Materiel Command employees (Interns to Senior Managers/SES), with a
career field in Resource Management.
